Pratyush Pillai

Pratyush Pillai is a Marine engineer by education, an alumnus of Tolani Maritime Institute. After designing oil rigs with Keppel FELS for close to 3 years, he plunged into the world of user-centricity and has spent the last 13 years working with advertising, branding and design agencies like BBDO, DY Works, Brand Ripples and Rickshaw Design, before joining TinkerLabs in 2018. He brings with him strong technical expertise which he has applied on diverse projects including BFSI, IT/Tech, Social Impact amongst various others. He also brings with him strong storytelling and facilitation skills.

At TinkerLabs, he has led behavioural research, analysis & strategy on a diverse set of consulting & training projects.

• Improving the holistic customer experience in a multi-stakeholder, well-defined SOP system (HomeLane)

• Improving access to hand washing for manual wheelchair users - a product innovation (Lifebuoy)

• Improving the mass-recruit onboarding experience (Swiggy) • Increasing the usage of a banking app for everyday transactions (Kotak Spendz)

• Improving customer experience and increasing sales by understanding user’s decision-making process and buying behaviour for high-end furniture pieces (High-end furniture brand)
